1.25 kg O₂ per kg BOD removed (Metcalf & Eddy, BOD-only basis — add 4.57 × NH₄‐N if nitrifying).
Assumes ~22% SOTE fine-bubble diffusers at 5 m depth.
Climate correction: design temperature set at 35 °C. Blower capacity scaled by Arrhenius factor θ(T−20) with θ = 1.024 ⇒ ×1.43 (+43%) vs. the 20 °C reference, matching the standard activated‐sludge temperature correction.
